I’m six weeks post-op from a primary septorhinoplasty and alarplasty done by Dr. Umut Erdogan in September 2024, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Dr. Erdogan, his assistant Aysegul, and the entire team were exceptional- warm, supportive, and highly professional. I had very minimal pain or swelling, and my friends and family were amazed at how little bruising I had. Years ago at a different clinic, I’d had filler injected into my nose that created scar tissue and also migrated. Despite having the filler dissolved weeks before going to Turkey, Dr. Erdogan found residual filler during surgery and removed it. He also discovered that the filler had left the skin on my bridge weak and damaged and treated it with PRP and PRF in the OR. My skin now looks better than ever, even the broken capillaries on my bridge that I’d tried to treat for years are gone. Traveling so far from home to have surgery was initially a little nerve-wracking, but after connecting with previous patients prior to booking and speaking to Aysegul and Dr Erdogan, I felt confident. Meeting them in person only confirmed my trust; they were genuinely caring and attentive, and not once did I feel rushed or pressured. Not only is Dr. Erdogan incredibly talented, his bedside manner is also outstanding. He listened to my goals and helped me choose a shape that balanced my features. I would definitely suggest and recommend Dr. Umut Erdogan for anyone that’s looking for any surgery's. (Myself I got my nose done. At first I wasn’t so sure with the results but I can see them now and VERY happy with them) The people/staff are very friendly and welcoming making you feel comfortable with whatever you’re having done. I had been searching for the right surgeon to complete my rhinoplasty, I had spoken to many all over Turkey and they all offered similar but different styles. I had a wonderful experience with the Dr. and his staff. I was a little scared coming from the U.S. having never been to Turkey and never meeting the doctor. However, his team did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and supported. They answered all of my questions, not only about the surgery, but the facility, the doctors licenses and training, the area, lodging, and everything I needed to know. On top of that… my surgical results are just amazing. Not only do I have the nose I was always trying to achieve through contour and photoshop, but my deviated septum was fixed and I have not had a migraine since! I’m nearly a month post op and loving the results! Dr. Erdogan is an artist! (and in my opinion undervalued at the moment). He is clearly very skilled but what I think distinguishes him from other doctors is his integrity. Our consultation was short cause he made me feel I could trust him so I didn’t feel I had to over-explain myself. He answered all my questions with honesty and confidence, which I really liked. Right before the op I got a bit nervous so I asked to see him again. He came to my room, explained the changes he was going to make and put me straight at ease. I really appreciated that.
